The cake was simple, yet elegant, as well.
It was such a great garden-y feel while being completely unique and feminine! The dessert table was about the most adorable thing ever! Wonderful cake pops were made with beautiful pink details, along with yummy cupcakes and other sweet treats! The tablescape was perfect, which included a large letter “A” for Baby Aurora and a cute scale and wooden accents. Wonderful fresh fruit, along with a variety of sandwiches and quiche was served at the event. The table settings were absolutely adorable! Burlap was continued into the theme and the menus were tucked into small burlap pockets at each place setting. The details at the baby shower were beautiful, from the perfect “Watch Me Grow” invitations, to the chalkboard outlining Aurora’s pending arrival! We LOVE the little details she wove into the big day! The burlap, calligraphy tags by Fine Print Calligraphy, and sweet plants are such a sweet theme and it all came together beautifully! She wanted to keep the same theme going for little Aurora’s baby shower, so she hired Emma Anderson of Sweet Emma Lou, as event planner and baker for the special event and she took the theme of growth and ran with it. The growth theme had been started long before the baby shower! These soon-to-be parents used plants in their baby announcements and they also used a pink violet to announce that they were having a baby girl! Momma even brought this same plant to her maternity photo shoot! What a great idea! Based on a “growth theme” her and her husband had already been following throughout her pregnancy, they decided to have a Watch Me Grow Baby Shower! This allows us access to innovative training, technology, and therapies, and gives you the proud feeling of knowing you are part of an organization working hard to serve the community.Getting ready for that special little bundle of joy is such an exciting time in any expectant parent’s life! And one of the most exciting times during that period is the baby shower!
